The Tavannes Watch Company was established in 1891 in the small Swiss village of Tavannes. An innovative company, by 1950 the company held over 300 patents and was producing movements for most of the famous Swiss brands. They continued to supply movements to other watch companies from 1966 until 1982, when they concentrated their business on producing specialized numeric command machines for the watch industry
